The focus of attention Tuesday as everyone gathered in the Oval Office was President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who made his first public remarks regarding government cuts. But the main attraction was Little X.
What started out as a political evening turned into a good time. The tense moment unexpectedly took a turn when Musk’s four-year-old son, “Lil X,” unintentionally stole center stage.
Trump stopped talking in the middle of the exchange and gestured to the toddler with a smile. He said, “This is X, and he’s a great guy—high IQ,” while laughing. As he went on, the president referred to the young boy as a “high-IQ individual,” which made everyone cheer.
Notwithstanding the gravity of the Trump-Musk discussion, the animated toddler’s presence added a lighthearted element to the high-profile encounter.
Elon Musk’s small son, “Lil X,” often distracted him from his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) projects, not policy considerations.
Musk reportedly lifted the four-year-old up onto his father’s shoulders, and the child started to play with his ears.
Musk continued, laughing, momentarily distracted, “I apologize.” “I might enjoy this if he didn’t stab me in the ears.” As he faded off, his smile persisted.
On social media, Grimes, his mother, who goes as Claire Boucher, commented, “I have made it clear I do not approve of that in every conceivable way I know how.” It’s an intriguing observation.
Who is the son of Little X, Grimes, and Elon Musk?
Elon Musk affectionately calls him “Lil X.” He was born in 2020 and is the youngest son of Grimes, a Canadian artist and multibillionaire businessman.
Over the years, he has occasionally been seen in public with his father, including on election night when he was featured in a photo of the Trump family. He was described as “a gorgeous, perfect boy” at the time by President Donald Trump.
I don’t give a damn what anyone says—seeing Trump, Elon Musk, and his son X together in the Oval Office makes me grin from ear to ear.
These guys might be billionaires, but at heart, they’re just like the rest of us. 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/1mAzivaa1g

Afterwards, the White House released a video that showed Musk, Trump, and “Lil X” in the Oval Office. The young youngster was seen wearing a brown coat and what his father described as a “cool chain” in the footage.
He used to lean against the sturdy Resolute Desk, which reminded many of the well-known 1962 picture of a young John F. Kennedy Jr. peering out from under the same desk.
