A body language expert claims that although everyone was devastated for Beyoncé after her emotional reaction to her Grammy win, Billie Eilish’s tears had a totally different cause.
As of yesterday night’s (2 February) annual Grammys, Beyoncé is still the most nominated artist in Grammy history.
When it was revealed that her album Cowboy Carter had won both Album of the Year and Best Country Album of the Year, nobody was more surprised than the queen herself.
When the winner was revealed, 23-year-old Billie Eilish was also seen crying because she was nominated for Album of the Year.
And although many admirers believed that her emotional response was due to the devastating loss, a body language expert has really provided an alternative explanation.
“Some people may have assumed that Billie Eilish was crying because she didn’t win, but I believe that they were sincere tears of joy and pride that Beyonce had won,” Darren Stanton stated in an exclusive interview with Betfair Slots.
“Beyonce is the biggest pop star of their childhood and an icon for the majority of the stars of this new younger generation,” he continued.
“Billie obviously has that empathy with Beyonce.”
Instead, the expert thought that Beyoncé’s tears were a sign of “joy” that she had finally won the Grammy for Best Album.
“You could see in her eyes in the close-up that there were no signs of sadness despite the fact she was crying,” he continued.
“It was a clear look of admiration and pride.”
According to Stanton, Beyoncé’s response to receiving her Grammy also seemed sincere.
He clarified, saying: “I believe that Beyoncé’s response from last night was one of sincere astonishment, shock, and incredulity.
“She was a statue for a second, like a deer in the headlights.”
“Her eyes widened, her mouth fell open, and she froze,” he continued.
“These micro-expressions can often suggest fear, but she wasn’t scared, it was more a fleeting flash of emotion that suggests surprise and disbelief.”
“I would like to thank all of the amazing country artists who accepted this, this album we worked so hard on,” the performer said as she took her record-breaking accolade. I believe that genre is sometimes a chilly term used to put us in our place as artists and simply to inspire others to pursue their passions. and to persevere.”
