The wild is the only place where bears should be found, in my opinion; they are among the most magnificent animals that can be found anywhere on the planet.
It is merely further evidence that this idea is strengthened when you read the narrative of these bears.
Two brown bears named Misha and Dasha were forced to live in a confined metal cage outside of a restaurant in Armenia for a period of ten years, which was a traumatic experience for them.
What is their sole objective? so that they can operate as attractions for tourists. They spent their days pacing in circles, climbing the bars, or beating their heads against the metal, yearning for any type of comfort from their boring and brutal existence. They had no space to roam and nothing to engage their minds, so they spent their days doing these things by themselves.
Their cage was placed in a precarious location adjacent to a riverbank, which put them at the whim of seasonal floods. As if their confinement wasn’t awful enough, their cage was also dangerously close to the riverside. When rising waters overwhelmed their small prison one year, they came dangerously close to experiencing a catastrophe. As they were confined behind iron bars with no way out, the hapless bears came dangerously close to drowning.
Lis Key, who is the public relations and communications manager for International Animal Rescue (IAR), stated that a few years ago, the river flooded, and the bears came dangerously close to drowning. It was necessary for the rescue squad to cut through the cages in order to free them, which indicates that they must have been trapped when the river overflowed and were in high risk of drowning.
The International Animal Rescue (IAR) collaborated with the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC) to persuade the proprietors of the restaurant to release the animals. This effort lasted for a number of years. At long last, the unrelenting efforts they put forth were rewarded.
When the rescue crew arrived, they were prepared with equipment that could cut through the cold steel that had prevented Misha and Dasha from escaping their imprisonment for ten years.
The bears were drugged and transferred to a refuge that was tucked in the mountains once they were eventually set free. This sanctuary was a location where the bears could finally live the life that they had been brutally denied prior to their release. They were able to roam, explore, and simply be bears for the very first time when they were there.
Something very remarkable took place after that. A cave was chosen by Misha and Dasha as a place to hibernate as winter drew closer. They emerged with a surprise when spring arrived, which was that Dasha had given birth to two cubs.
Rescue workers were taken aback. At the time that Dasha was rescued, no one had previously been aware that she was expecting a child. “She was provided with all the required care after being rescued, including an adequate amount of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and honey to enable her to acquire weight and fat before to hibernating… “But nobody guessed that her good appetite was a result of pregnancy,” said Vicky Mkrtchyan, who is the coordinator of environmental programs for the Forest and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
In the past, Dasha had been a representation of imprisonment and pain; nevertheless, she had transformed into a devoted mother who passionately protected and nurtured her cubs in the secure environment of their new enclosure.
Mkrtchyan continued by saying, “It was already uplifting to see Dasha getting out of the barren cage by the river and beginning to take an interest in life and in her surroundings.” “At this moment, it is just breathtaking to witness her with her two young cubs. Being able to look at her now, a natural mother who cares for her cubs and fiercely protects them from the outside world, is a very touching experience when one considers her awful past behind bars.
This trip is a monument to the power of resilience and the effect of organisations who are dedicated to protecting animal rights. Misha and Dasha went from a life of agony to a future filled with hope. Because of their experience, we are reminded that no animal should be made to live a life of pain for the purpose of fulfilling human enjoyment.
Those who fought for Dasha and her cubs’ release have ensured that they will never have to endure suffering again, and they are doing well.

God be praised. Many thanks to everyone who went above and beyond to make this a reality!
