If you see this when you’re eating, I can only apologise.
A video of what appears to be Donald Trump scolding Elon Musk’s feet has been shown on a television in a government building.
Indeed, it seems that Trump and the CEO of Tesla are closer than ever—at least, a version of them both—despite Musk’s “deep fear” being made public.
A surprise viewing was given to those in the cafeteria earlier today (February 24), while the rest of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) was hard at work to ‘ensure Americans have access to fair, affordable housing, and opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency, thereby strengthening [the] nation’.
A television in the HUD cafeteria was attacked by someone who, well, hasn’t been identified publicly yet, chose to use the occasion to broadcast artificial intelligence content that seemed to depict Musk and the US president in a rather precarious situation.
A video of the incident was posted on Twitter by Vox journalist Rachel Cohen. It shows a television hanging from the ceiling with what appears to be Trump and Elon, with Trump kissing Musk’s toes.
Over the two, there is a statement that says, “LONG LIVE THE REAL KING.”
People quickly flocked to social media to voice their opinions.
According to one Twitter user, “This is so funny but disgusting as well.”
According to someone else, “Bro has two left feet.”
A third person said: “That’s not kissing, that’s something else and I don’t want it o be defined.”
“Funny, but isn’t it more like the other way around?” asked a fourth.
The US House Committee on Financial Services’ Democrats came to the conclusion that “not all heroes wear capes.”
The source of the phoney video that is being shown on TV is unknown, however it looks like it was previously shared on Twitter, where another user said the video was based on their photo.
While Musk and Trump’s AI counterparts go to work, the real-life duo has been at the opposite extreme, sending out emails to every federal employee asking for one thing, and if they don’t reply, they will be deemed to have resigned.
Trump has also turned around and told Musk, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to “get more aggressive.” That’s definitely another way to characterise that toe video, isn’t it?
