Elon Musk is constantly in the news these days, but some of the reasons he keeps making headlines include his ex-partner’s public entreaties to him on X and claims that he surreptitiously fathered a thirteenth child.
Elon Musk takes his job as head of the Department of Government Efficiency very seriously when he’s not attempting to save astronauts from the International Space Station or fending off claims that he’s a lousy father from his own father. Musk has some authority as a “special government employee,” despite the fact that it is not a formal post within the White House.
In addition to facing harsh public criticism, the head of DOGE has been ordered to delete financial records belonging to millions of Americans, despite his pledge to try and cut $2 trillion from government spending.
Musk’s recent targeting of Medicare at the Conservative Political Action Conference caused a stir throughout the globe, but it wasn’t the most outrageous incident involving the wealthiest guy in the world. Javier Milei, a Trump friend and the president of Argentina, gave Musk a golden chainsaw during one strange encounter. On the second day of CPAC, Milei gave Musk the chainsaw as a metaphor for the cuts he’s making to the federal government while she was on stage with Newsmax presenter Rob Schmitt.
Musk was eager to surpass what we considered to be the most bizarre moment—the Tesla CEO being shown a sci-fi photo of himself.
Others were perplexed by Musk’s overall look and the fact that he wore large sunglasses for the duration of the right-wing meeting.
In addition to sporting a gold chain and sunglasses, Musk wore a top that said, “I’m not procrastinating, I’m doing side quests.”
Musk turned into a string of soundbites, stating, at one point, “I am becoming a meme,” followed by, “My mind is a storm.”
Last year, Elon Musk said that if President Trump won and DOGE began operations, he would wear the same attire. With spectacles and a gold chain around his neck, he looks really awesome! 😎
Critics said that he was unable to form coherent sentences, and although Grimes was popular at the time, X was inundated with allegations that the millionaire had used illegal drugs, making “ketamine” the second trending topic.
At least we now know why he wore sunglasses, as Musk confirmed that it had to do with a 2024 pledge he made if Donald Trump were to win the presidency again.
Musk reiterated Trump’s assertions that the Fort Knox gold repository is a hoax in yet another tirade that could go viral. At CPAC, Musk added, “We just wanna see it and make sure somebody didn’t spray paint lead or something.” The president had stated that he intended to visit the military base to confirm that the gold was present.
Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon, who has referred to Musk as a “parasitic illegal immigrant” who “wants to impose his freak experiments and play-act as God without any respect for the country’s history, values, or traditions,” followed Musk onstage. They did not share the stage, despite the hopes of some that the fight would be similar to that of Mike Tyson and Logan Paul.
Despite his detractors, Musk received numerous standing ovations and some of the conference’s loudest applause.
