The newborn newborns are gorgeous in their own unique way, just like every other individual is beautiful in their own way.
On the occasion of the birth of a newborn girl named Angelica in the year 2018, her family was filled with delight. She was even more remarkable due to the fact that she had a heart-shaped port wine stain on her face in addition to her stunning facial characteristics. Sadly, not everyone recognized the beauty that her distinctive mark possessed.
In spite of the fact that Angelica’s mother claims that her family has accepted her in her current state and even loves her birthmark, there are some people who feel that they have the right to comment on this girl’s appearance.
One of the most offensive comments that I’ve ever received on the internet was when someone questioned whether her face had been pressed against a griddle. Angelica’s mother, Marianna Bowering, was quoted in the Mirror as stating that her daughter’s face appeared to have been grilled.
An additional statement made by Marianna was that there were instances in which her daughter was referred to as “hideous” and a “defect.” The family was determined to overcome the harmful consequences of the cruel remarks and comments that were directed toward them, despite the fact that this had a detrimental impact on them and just contributed to the difficulties they were already facing.
Regardless of what other people thought, Angelica’s family instilled in her the value of loving herself exactly as she is.
Marianna made the decision to paint her daughter’s face with something that looked like a birthmark, just like Angelica’s, in the hopes of making her daughter feel better mentally and physically.
According to The Epoch Times, the mother stated, “I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day, where they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks to raise awareness about vascular birthmarks.” “At first, I only applied the heart-shaped makeup to my face, but then I thought, why don’t I go all out and apply Angelica’s port wine stain?”
When someone tried to ‘comfort’ Marianna by telling her that her daughter’s mark would eventually disappear or that she could conceal it with makeup once she grew older, it only served to further crush this mother’s heart. She couldn’t help but wonder if Angelica would be forced to hide her natural beauty rather than embracing it.
Because of this, it served as a reminder that societies have certain standards about the appearance that a person must have in order to be accepted by the group and to fit in.
Angelica’s family has always encouraged her to love herself for who she is, and they have always told her to do so. There were times when Marianna would cover the wine port stain that her daughter had on her wine port jacket with glitter so that it would shine brightly.

“Thank goodness, we’ve done tests, and Angelica is completely healthy,” Marianna said of her daughter, pointing to the fact that children who have birthmarks of this kind are more likely to acquire other health concerns. Simply put, we need to make sure that she gets regular checkups, particularly for her eyes, because glaucoma is a potential risk.
Having Angelica learn how to love herself and accept her birthmark is something that we are grateful for.
