A Woman Who Became A “Vampire” By Covering Her Whole Body In Tattoos Issues Warning
The lady who owns the Guinness World Record for the most physical changes has issued a stern warning to those who attempt to imitate her.
Maria José Cristerna, often known as the “real-life vampire” for her odd appearance, has spent the majority of her life working on her extensive tattoo collection. She got her first tattoo at the age of fourteen.
With 50 bodily changes in total, the Mexican woman has secured her position as the most altered woman in the Guinness World Records for 2022.
Cristerna’s odd changes include implants in her arms and forehead, many piercings, a split tongue, and an incredible collection of tattoos that cover practically her whole body, including her eyeballs.
Cristerna told Guinness World Records that her father first opposed the idea. But then dad took me to the tattoo studio to get my first tattoo.”
She stressed her strong affinity to art, saying, “Art runs through my veins.” I’ve loved art since I was a child, and now I can express it with my body.”
She traces her transformation to an oppressive and brutal ten-year marriage, and she hopes to advocate for other women who have undergone similar physical, mental, and emotional violence. “The only way to escape violence and abuse is to love oneself. “We came to this world to be happy,” she declared.
Her bodily changes represent boldness, tenacity, and release from her past.
Although each change has a specific meaning, Cristerna found that having implants implanted in her arms and pigmentation in her eyes were the most painful.
Cristerna celebrates her Guinness World Records title while remaining steadfast in her pursuit of self-expression.
“You can always achieve your goals. There are no limitations. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it,” she said.
She plans to cover her entire body in tattoos, confidently declaring, “I don’t care what people think of me. I put myself in first place. I know who I am, and that is what matters.
Cristerna did, however, send a cautionary message to young people contemplating similar radical changes, stating: “The advice I would give is that you have to think about it a lot because it is irreversible.”
She went on to say, “I adore the way I look, but you must understand that there are young individuals who are quite open to tattoos, piercings, and anything. It’s become popular, therefore we may find that it’s no longer what we want or like.”
“So you have to think about it very hard in order to love it and be able to defend it your whole life.”
The “Vampire Woman,” who posted about a fresh tattoo earlier this week, is still getting tattooed, despite her admonition to others not to get tattoos unless they were completely certain about them.
She shared a photo from her most recent makeover on Instagram, showing an artist working on her back in a tattoo shop. A caption accompanying the image reads, “One more stripe for my brother’s tiger Rene Camarena Laus Satanus.”
