There is no better country diva than Reba McEntire. From the minute she stepped onto the stage in the late 1970s, she quickly became a fan favorite, and millions of people fell in love with her.
The woman has been married twice throughout her life, and she is the mother of one son named Shelby.
Reba has, however, been through a number of heartbreaks, despite the fact that she has achieved a great deal of success and has a smile that is irresistible to everyone.
Jacqueline, Reba’s mother, passed away in 2022 as a result of cancer. Considering that the two were incredibly close to one another and had cultivated a wonderful mother-daughter connection, this was a devastating blow.
“She lived a lovely life that was full of joy and health, and she was completely prepared to pass away. “We are giving God all the credit for selecting the time for her to go home to Him,” the country star posted on social media. “The cancer may think it won the battle, but we are giving God all the credit.”

In the past, when Jacqueline was younger, she had the desire of being a singer herself. However, because her dream did not come true, she decided to teach her daughter how to sing instead.
When she went, she was aware of how much love she received, and we are all aware of how much love she had for us. Despite the fact that we are all going to miss her, we have a lot of beautiful memories of her,” Reba remarked.
Regrettably, this was not the first time that Reba had been through the experience of tragedy and loss. A terrible airplane catastrophe took the lives of seven members of her band and her manager on March 16, 32 years ago. Her manager was also among those who perished in the crash.
On that particular day in 1991, the band was performing a show in San Diego, and their following event on the tour was scheduled to take place in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They were heading there via plane.
After making the decision to spend the night in San Diego, Reba and her husband at the time chose against taking the flight that was scheduled to take them together. Only ten miles after it had taken off, the band’s airplane crashed into the ground.
Reba never passes up an opportunity to pay tribute to the members of her band who have passed away, despite the fact that it has been more than three decades since the awful accident.
During an interview with Oprah in 2012, Reba discussed the tragedy without holding back any information. She stated that the tip of the airplane’s wing collided with a boulder on the side of Otay Mountain, which resulted in the deaths of all of the passengers and crew members on board.
Upon receiving the notification, Narvel, who is Reba’s manager, proceeded to meet with our pilot and informed us of the situation that had transpired.
And Narvel returned to the hotel room where I was staying, and he informed me that one of the planes had crashed. It was about two or three o’clock in the morning at the time. I responded by saying, “I’m sorry.”
Were they all right? “I don’t think so,” he stated clearly. “But you’re not sure?” I demanded to know. To which he responded, “I don’t think so.”
While she was thinking back on the terrible day, Reba was unable to stop the tears from streaming down her face at any point.
She began by saying, “Narvel was going from room to room with a phone and calling…” She paused for a moment as tears began to form in her eyes.
She expressed her understanding by saying, “I’m sorry — it’s been twenty years, but it’s just like — I don’t guess it ever stops hurting.” However, I am able to see that chamber. I am able to observe Narvel moving in a circular motion.
In the year 2020, the singer paid respect to those who had passed away as a result of the accident. “Today, 29 years ago, I was a victim of a plane catastrophe by which I lost my friends.
According to what she shared on social media, “the timing of Mama’s passing with that anniversary seems appropriate.”
I have no doubt that they are all in Heaven together, where they are all taking care of one another.
Let us continue to look for ways to look out for one another here on earth, and let us never make the mistake of taking even a single moment with our loved ones for granted.
Her supporters were eager to offer messages of condolence and support. “Reeba” Your music has always been one of my favorites, and we both have a history with horses. I am now following you on Instagram. One of your fans remarked, “Prayers for you and your mother 🙏🏻.”

This year was the same as the previous ones. Reba felt compelled to share with the world that, despite the passage of time, she is still grieving for the predicament that her friends have found themselves in and the horrible loss that they have suffered.
She added, “Their love for music and the stage gives us all the strength to go on,” and she included a video of one of their performances together as a band in her post.
I would appreciate it if you could SHARE this article with your loved ones and peers on Facebook.
